WHAT I LEARNT TODAY: “You Will Have To Push Yourself By Yourself”

In the last 2 weeks, I met a few people albeit, friends that are close to me who seemed to be going through tough times. So much so it is in tandem with the current World Stock markets!  It seems that times are tough.  People think that they have a Dream, I call it a Vision, but in reality, most people get into the “Draft” or gets “drafted” into other people’s visions or created their own ‘dramas”.

In my capacity as a Leader of my Team, I have seen far too many people join my team, directly or indirectly, only to get drafted or reluctant to have their own victories. Why? because victories require “fighting” and ordinary people never fought to achieve them!

The reality is this, none of us qualify for what we want until we are willing to go for it ALONE! The only proof of desire is “pursuit”, where I build everyday of  my life around obtaining something, my own short term and long term goals.  Why going alone? because I spend most of my time with myself! Hence, the first person i need to LEAD, is Myself!

Now, People can encourage you, but YOU will have to push YOU!. People can help you up, but you will have to pull yourself up!

How to change if we are in this situation?

1. You will have to bounce back quickly from anything disappointing, or else, pain will shut the windows of opportunity that God gives you to move forward. Driven people do not treat potholes like it is a Meteorite Hole!  Driven people go after things because of how long they refuse to live life without them.

2. Make your Mistakes your Biggest Classroom. Face up, take up those mistakes. Success is the result of what we’ve mastered, Mistakes are the results of what is ’still’ mastering us. Ordinary people shrink after a mistake. Great people learn from it and grow!

My last words are as follows: You will not be a good re-starter unless you are a good “Self-Starter”.
